Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reportedly have been attached to star in and produce the upcoming thriller RIP.
The film is being described as a crime thriller, but plot details have been kept secret, according to an article on Tuesday by Deadline.
Affleck, 51, and Damon, 53, were producing via their Artists Equity production company that the actors launched in November 2022.
Artists Equity released its first film Air in April 2023 about the origin of Air Jordan and it starred both of them with Affleck also directing.
RIP has Joe Carnahan, 55, both writing and directing and is expected to find a distributor soon after drawing interest from theatrical and streaming buyers.

Artists Equity also has produced the 2023 documentary Kiss The Future that was released in February in theaters.
The production company released the 2024 documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told for Amazon MGM Studios about Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez, 54.
The historical drama film Small Things Like These based on the 2021 novel of the same name also was produced by Artists Equity and premiered in February at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival.
The company has the upcoming action sequel The Accountant 2 starring Affleck as well as the heist thriller film The Instigators starring both Affleck and Damon in the works.
Artists Equity also has the musical drama film ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ and the biographical sports drama film Unstoppable, starring Lopez, on its production schedule. Lopez also produces Unstoppable via her Nuyorican Productions company.
Affleck and Lopez got married in 2022 after rekindling their romance, but rumors have been circulating of an imminent split.
Damon and Affleck earlier this year teamed up for a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial featuring Tom Brady, 46, and Lopez that aired during the Super Bowl.
Affleck and Damon have been friends since childhood and wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay for Good Will Hunting while also starring in the 1997 film with the late Robin Williams and Minnie Driver.

Williams, who died in 2014 at age 63, won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Good Will Hunting, while Affleck and Damon won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
Affleck has 12-year-old son Samuel and daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.
The Pearl Harbor star last month appeared as a ‘surprise guest’ on The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady that aired live on Netflix.
Viewers ridiculed Affleck on social media over his ‘lazy’ delivery and appearance during the roast of his sports idol.
Nikki Glaser, 40, who earned widespread praise for her material at the roast, admitted afterward that she hasn’t re-watched Affleck’s performance yet.
‘I haven’t watched it again back how it looked, because I don’t like to watch people bomb, ‘she said in an interview with KFC Radio.
‘He didn’t prepare. He’s someone who’s famous enough that he probably thinks that this is beneath him to do this, so I’m just gonna do a favor,’ Glaser said.
