Dakota Johnson looked lovely in an oversized blazer as she was honored at the 17th Annual HOPE Luncheon Seminar at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 34, rocked the oversized blazer trend with a taupe blazer that grazed the top of her knees.
Dakota – who celebrated turning 34 last month – teamed the outfit with a pair of skinny, black leather pants and a silky white blouse.
Black boots and a black handbag completed her sartorial look and she wore her brown hair straight with blunt bangs across her forehead.
The annual event, which benefits the charity Hope for Depression Research Foundation, honored Johnson for her depression advocacy.

The theme of this year’s event was ‘Resilience: Emerging Stronger from Life’s Greatest Challenges.’
A press release for the event said: ‘Every year, Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) hosts a widely-anticipated HOPE Luncheon Seminar in November in New York that attracts over 300 top New York City philanthropists, asset managers, business and media professionals, socialites and celebrities.
‘The event focuses on a specific aspect of depression and invites the most respected psychiatrists and neuroscientists to educate the audience about the latest updates in science and the research that HDRF has funded,’ it continued.
‘The goal of the HOPE Luncheon Seminar is to raise awareness about depression and its related mood disorders and to raise funds for continued research.’

In the wake of her split from Joe Jonas, Sophie has been busy looking after three-year-old Willa and 16-month-old Delphine daughters while Joe begun performing with The Jonas Brothers in Spokane, WA.
