Cullens Wife Speaks Out on Danika Mason Drama

's wife has weighed in on the drama surrounding Today sports reporter Danika Mason. 

In January 2025, Cullen was fired from the Today show after he accepted $50,000 from The Block billionaire Adrian Portelli for referring to him as 'McLaren Man' on-air, which was a breach of the network's 'cash for comment' code of conduct.

Last week Mason, 34, issued an on-air apology on Today after she slurred and stumbled her way through a cross from the Winter in .

On Monday, Alex's wife Bonnie let her thoughts be known on the Mason drama after one of her friends shared a post to social media, writing, 'Well they sacked Alex Cullen for less.'

Speaking on Nova 100's Jase & Lauren on Thursday morning, Albanese admitted he was on Danika's side.

'I'm pro Danika! Good on her! She's over in Italy… and she would have been tired,' he told hosts Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips.
