Cruz Beckham had a big smile on his face as he and girlfriend Jackie Apostel reacted to Daily Mail's glowing gig review of his tour in his new behind the scenes vlog.

Daily Mail's Dolly Busby and Olivia Kemp attended his first ever headline gig at Mama Roux's in  last month and gave great praise, causing Jackie, 31, to say she was 'gonna cry' when she read every word.

Showing Cruz the article, a proud Jackie, the brains behind putting Cruz's band, The Breakers together, said: 'The first article is out about the boys...'

Reading out Olivia and Dolly's words, she read: 'We were all too quick to judge him... It wasnt just the 14 year old girls that screamed - we did too!'

And getting emotional, Brazilian-German Jackie said: 'I am going to cry. [They're written] Way better looking in person...' to which the crew fell about in fits of laughter.

Cruz Beckham grinned and Jackie Apostel said'I'm gonna cry' as they react to Daily Mail's glowing gig review in his BTS tour vlog released on Wednesday

But it's not just Cruz that steals the show, his father David, makes a fleeting - and shirtless - appearance over FaceTime

In the next scene of the vlog, Cruz and Jackie talk about going out and partying in order to celebrate the article.

But it's not just Cruz that steals the show, his father David, makes a fleeting - and shirtless - appearance over FaceTime.

'You'll get more followers,' David jokes about his appearance on Cruz's vlog after his show.

'I don't know if you will get more followers than my Bulge Of The Year,' Cruz teased his dad. 'Or your boobs of the year,' he guffawed.

Cruz had won the accolade Bulge Of The Year, as voted by Grindr - the world's largest social networking app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people after posing in his swimming trunks while on a family holiday.

And he couldn't resist namechecking it a fair few times in his latest video.

Elsewhere, Cruz revealed the band's pre-show ritual. He says: 'Tough times never last, only tough people last...ribbit!'

In the Daily Mail's original review, Jackie also gets a namecheck.

They wrote: 'Standing at the side of the stage, the singer-songwriter and music producer was initially brought in to help Cruz write his upcoming album, but fell head over heels in love with him and they've been inseparable ever since.

'Dressed casually in a Cruz Beckham and The Breakers baseball cap and strappy white top, a true 'band wife', Jackie mouthed the words to every song.

Keeping out of the spotlight, Jackie filmed parts of the performance on her phone and was seen pinging off pictures to various contacts on her WhatsApp - no doubt to his doting parents.'

And praising Cruz's performance, they noted that he had the grace to come out to speak to every fan after the show, thanking them ten times over for attending his first gig.
