Former Geordie Shore star Dee Nguyen has shared some happy news.
The controversial reality star, 31, took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that she is engaged to be married.
Dee shared a post with pictures of herself wearing a massive engagement ring and smiling with her fiancé Ollie Diggins.
The proposal came while the couple were holidaying in Palau in Micronesia.
The newly engaged duo were all smiles in the posts, with Dee wearing a red dress and Ollie on theme in a tropical-themed shirt.
In the caption, Dee spelled out the history of her relationship with her fiancé.

‘2 years ago I referred to you as “pool boy”, you then became “boyfriend” and now I get to call you “fiancé”,’ she said.
The last time Dee made headlines was in 2022, when she was slammed for mocking a disabled man’s Hinge profile in a TikTok video.
Dee, who was fired from MTV’s The Challenge in 2020 after making offensive comments about the Black Lives Matter movement, was criticised for sharing a clip of herself ‘casually swiping through’ the dating app.
In the footage, Dee was scrolling through the app when she saw that someone had asked her to ‘go dancing’, before showing her followers it was a man in a wheelchair and smirking at the camera.
The man in question, quadriplegic artist and podcaster Kyle Montgomery, later reposted the video on his own Instagram account to draw attention to Nguyen’s ‘harmful, casual ableism’.
Ableism refers to discrimination in favour of able-bodied people.
After his post went viral, Dee returned to TikTok to make a public apology.
‘A few weeks ago I made that stupid TikTok video… when I came across Kyle’s profile, he responded to one of my prompts saying that he wanted to go dance with me,’ she said.

‘I scroll down, I saw that he was in a wheelchair – there’s nothing wrong with that, by the way – I scroll down and I listen to one of his voice prompts that said, “If you’re not a fan of f**ked-up, dark humour, then we probably wont get along.”‘
She continued: ‘Obviously, I thought that it was punny [a funny pun] and I didn’t mean to post that video in a way that was mocking him.
‘So when he reached out saying he was thoroughly upset, I personally DM’d him and said I was sorry.’
Dee then shared a screenshot of a message she had sent Montgomery in which she clarified she wasn’t being ‘malicious’ before ‘deeply apologising’ for offending him.
‘I didn’t realise the impact of my video, and the extent of hurt that Kyle felt and I was genuinely remorseful for it,’ she added.
‘I don’t like hurting people and it wasn’t my intention.’
