Back in November, she responded to comments asking if she’s leaving the country after Donald Trump’s reelection.
The 63-year-old comedian posted a video to Instagram, writing: ‘I’m leaving the US?’ before launching into an explanation as to why she’s not leaving America – despite four years of a Trump presidency.
‘Okay so I’m responding to a bunch of comments that I’d been getting – look, sometimes I read the comments, sometimes my security folks advise me not to read them,’ she joked.
‘I’m not leaving the country alright, I never said that I was,’ she continued.
‘I was never one of these celebrities – D-list or otherwise – that’s like, “If Trump gets reelected I’m leaving the country and I’m going here and I’m going to do this.”‘
The actress added that ‘obviously’ she didn’t want Trump to win.
‘I tussled with him seven years ago, and I prevailed,’ she quipped.

‘But I have the knock at the door, so don’t come at me and don’t be talking to me about, “you should be so scared Kathy,” and “you should be packing your bags,” she told her followers.
In the caption, the comedian joked: ‘They tried to take me out. It didn’t work seven years ago and it’s not gonna work now, f**kers.’
Griffin’s previous few posts were flooded with trolls telling her to leave America after Trump’s win, with one writing, ‘Thought you were leaving the country?’
Another wrote, ‘What country are you moving to?!’
A third commented, ‘I hope she doesn’t tell him where she’s moving to because they will block the border and not let her in. I think she should have to sneak across the border into the next country she lives in just like she’s in favor of people coming in our country illegally.’
Griffin has not held back in sharing her distaste for Trump and was among the celebrities celebrating his guilty verdict in his hush money trial in May.
She said she was crying ‘TEARS OF JOY’ in the wake of the verdict, also thanking Stormy Daniels for her testimony in the case.
The heart of the charges were reimbursements paid to Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen for a $130,000 hush money payment to the porn actor in exchange for not going public with her claim about a 2006 sexual encounter with Trump.

Griffin initially apologized for the stunt but later revoked that statement and now stands by the photo and insists it was free speech.
‘You can be as offended by that photo all you want, that doesn’t bother me at all,’ she said.
‘But I want people to know I didn’t break the law. If you take a photo like that, you didn’t break the law.
‘I didn’t violate the First Amendment in any way. If you take a photo like that, you didn’t violate the First Amendment in any way.’
The Emmy winner claimed she had been under investigation by federal authorities into whether she was a credible threat.
She added she was put on the no-fly list while also being ‘interrogated under oath… which has never happened in the history of this country.’

The scandal erupted in May 2017 when Griffin posed with the bloodied mask in a photoshoot with photographer Tyler Shields.
Griffin captioned it with a reference to ‘blood coming out of his wherever’ – a play on Trump’s controversial comments about TV host Megyn Kelly.
In September, Griffin joked that she was losing money due to her hefty travel expenses on her comedy tour, My Life on the PTSD-List.
She opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her decision to fly private and admitted it was financially irresponsible.
‘I joke that I’m losing money on this tour because of the jet,’ she quipped.
‘I know it’s spoiled, but it’s worth it. I get to sleep with my babies and avoid the airport, where a lot of Trumpers still feel the need to come up to me and tell me how horrible I am.’
