The flame-haired comedian - turning 63 next month - slipped his towering 6ft 4in frame into a blue-denim jumpsuit over a formal white shirt and blue-dotted necktie along with brown boots.

Hairstylist KC Carhart Speers gave O'Brien even more height with his signature coiffed curl while groomer Michelle DeMilt made sure he was ready for his close-up on Oscar press day.

The six-time winner was joined by three crew members as they pushed the massive red carpet in unison for the snapping cameras inside the bustling Ovation Hollywood complex.

But the manual labor didn't last long as O'Brien began dramatically posing on the yet-to-be-unfurled carpet.

At one point, the Team Coco owner splayed his body lengthwise with one knee up while soaking up the attention.

With only four days left before the ABC/Hulu broadcast, O'Brien has been workshopping Oscars monologue material with over five other writers.

And on Sunday, the Harvard-educated, Massachusetts-born funnyman hit the Largo comedy club stage in order to test out 20 minutes of said material.
