Colin Firth continued filming a Sky drama about the Lockerbie bombing as he got into character as Dr. Jim Swire in Glasgow on Friday
The actor, 63, was first spotted in character in mid-February and has taken on the role of Jim, 88, the father of one of the 270 victims of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing.
Colin wore a blue shirt, a cream jumper, a tartan tie, and a smart double-breasted coat and carried a smart black briefcase, while sporting Jim’s famous ‘Lockerbie: The Truth Must Be Known’ badge.
At the back of Colin’s briefcase was a drawing of Jim’s daughter, Flora Swire, who was on her way to the US to spend Christmas with her boyfriend when Libyan terrorists blew up her plane.
The Lockerbie bombing, named after the Scottish town of the same name, is the deadliest terrorist attack in the history of the United Kingdom.

There were no survivors and the death toll includes Lockerbie civilians on the ground, killed by large pieces of plane debris.
Lockerbie’s five episodes will air on Sky Television later in the year. So far, Colin is the only confirmed cast member.
In 2023, Colin made a cameo appearance in British rom-com Rye Lane. He also appeared in Barbie but not as himself, rather in a clip from Pride and Prejudice.
Colin has not appeared in any productions so far in 2024, and has none upcoming bar Lockerbie.
Colin, who won an Oscar in 2011 for his performance in The King’s Speech, remained at the family’s £4 million family home in Chiswick, West London, while Livia has spent much of the time since in Italy.
The actor recently hit the headlines when the shirt he (maybe) wore during the famous lake scene of Pride And Prejudice went to auction at a whopping £10,000.

A destroyed plane that will appear in the series was seen in a Glasgow car park earlier in the month covered in tarpaulin and surrounded by cones in the city’s town centre.
It had been noticed for its similarity to the original Pan Am Flight 103 which exploded over the town in Dumfries and Galloway, 40 minutes into its flight from London to New York on December 21, 1988.
The terrorist attack killed all 259 passengers and crew, 35 of whom were students from the University of Syracuse, and 11 Lockerbie residents.
Colin’s Lockerbie’s official synopsis, was released by Sky.
It read: ‘On 21st December 1988, 259 passengers and crew were killed when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie 38 minutes after take-off, with a further 11 residents losing their life as the plane came down over the quiet, Scottish town.
‘In the wake of the disaster and his daughter Flora’s death, Dr Jim Swire (Firth), is nominated spokesperson for the UK victims’ families, who have united to demand truth and justice.
‘Travelling across continents and political divides, Jim embarks on a relentless journey that not only jeopardises his stability, family and life, but completely overturns his trust in the justice system. As the truth shifts under Jim’s feet, his view of the world is left forever sullied.
‘Exploring events from the disaster and its aftermath, Lockerbie provides an intimate account of a man, a husband, and a father who risks everything in memory of his daughter and the unflinching pursuit of truth and justice.’
