The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman looked unrecognisable without her signature fringe in a throwback snap.
The presenter, 51, is known for her iconic fringe, eyeliner and tan, and previously revealed she gets her makeup look from her mother Eve Pollard.
She also told the Cheltenham Literature Festival: ‘If you’ve got a fringe and been spray-painted, you’re winning… it totally desexualises you. I don’t want to be sexually attractive, I don’t want to be cute or sexy. I want to be Yves in Lyons. It helps with ageing.’
But in a resurfaced picture from a shoot in 2001, Claudia looked completely different without her straight fringe and less makeup.
Claudia will once again host the nail-biting psychological reality competition where 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000.

In the show, the majority of contestants are ‘Faithfuls’ and must work out who amongst them are ‘Traitors’ – who have the opportunity to ‘murder’ a fellow contestant each night.
The group has daily ‘banishments’ in which they must vote to kick out who they think is a Traitor, all while working together on challenges to raise money for the prize fund.
In the first episode, Claudia will select which contestants will secretly become the new Traitors.
In addition, the contestants compete in various ‘missions’, which up until now have had the aim of increasing the prize pot.
But as she addressed the castmates for the 2024 season as they lined up beside a loch, Claudia revealed that this year’s missions have arrived with a new twist.
As well as providing the opportunity of raising £15,000 for the prize pot, Claudia added a surprising new layer to the challenges.
The first mission will see the 22 new castmates line up beside a loch
She said: ‘I have also some news. This year on these missions, you’re not just playing for money – you are also playing for your lives.
‘This, players, is a shield. Three of you can win one of these on a mission. There are two in the loch and one on land.
‘This protects you from being murdered by the traitors, but it does not protect you from Banishment.
‘So to be clear, if you go for a shield you will be protected from murder. But at what cost?
‘Basically what you’ve got to think is what’s more important – your money, or your life?’
During the chat she also gave her opinion on why the show was such a success when it debuted.
The 22 contestants of The Traitors have been revealed – including a man who was brought back to life after being pronounced dead at the side of a road, and a parliamentary affairs adviser
Claudia has admitted she had to be convinced by BBC bosses to return for a second season
She explained: ‘For the first series, 20,000 applied, and for the second series, it was around 130,000.
‘What I love about our cast is that they’re not interested in being famous, they want to play the game and win the money.’
This series Claudia will be joined by comedian Ed Gamble who is presenting a special spin-off podcast for the hit show.
The first season of The Traitors, which was set in a Scottish castle, launched at the end of November 2022.
The Traitors starts tonight on BBC One. You can watch the first three episodes on BBC iPlayer afterwards.
