Cheryl Hines has broken silence on 's claims that she and husband . sold the comedian a 'toxic' home. 

The 60-year-old actress - who over a decade earlier - shared her response to the allegations that Handler made earlier this month.

The former talk show host bought the L.A. mansion in 2021 for $5.85 million, but claimed on her Dear Chelsea podcast that she had been . 

However, the Curb Your Enthusiasm star shared she is 'questioning the timing' of Handler's allegations in a snippet of her appearance in the upcoming episode of the Tomi Lahren podcast, obtained by People

Hines said Handler 'bought this house five years ago and she's just now complaining about it, which is also, I don't know that she's getting a lot of sympathy from people. 

'She's buying a $6 million house,' she continued, before adding that claims the house was 'toxic' don't 'make sense.'

'And talking about how she feels duped and that we tried to sell her a house that was, her word, "toxic," which also doesn't make sense,' Hines added. 

The star then explained that when Handler first purchased the residence, she had reached out to the comedian and also offered to help in any way if needed.

She alleged, 'It was a disaster, and I didn't know it going in because everything was, you know, under wraps'; seen in January in NYC 

She also made a comment geared towards Hines' husband during the podcast episode. 

'The idea that this guy is in charge of the health of our country when he didn't even have a proper foundation at his house.'

Last week during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Handler gave an update on the situation with the mansion. 

'I didn't know I was buying it from RFK Jr. because it was a blind trust and the house feels like I bought it from RFK Jr.,' she told the late night talk show host. 

The comedian added that it took her 'four years to move in.'

The star also said, 'Cheryl Hines sent me a note saying, "Thank you. We're so excited you bought our house. Let us know if there's anything we can do." And I was like, "Oh, no!"

'I'm like, "I bought RFK Jr.'s [house]!" He's like the one person in the world that I would flag whose house not to buy. They've done enough... all those losers.'
