WAG Chelsea Becirevic has clarified her real opinions on Adelaide after it was claimed she was warned about moving to the ‘boring’ city.
The influencer, 24, followed her boyfriend Ivan Soldo to Adelaide last November when he was traded from Richmond to Port Adelaide.
But seven months after the big move, Chelsea announced she is moving to Dubai to work for Emirates as she admitted living in Adelaide permanently wasn’t for her.
Replying to questions from her fans, she said she found adjusting to life in Adelaide ‘a struggle’ and is now relocating by herself, while Ivan will remain in the city.
Now, Chelsea has clarified that she did enjoy her time there but opened up about how it was a big ‘adjustment’ moving to the smaller city from Melbourne.

‘Despite what everyone is saying. I did enjoy my time here in Adelaide, and if it wasn’t for this exciting job opportunity, I would still be here,’ she told The Advertiser.
‘My move to Adelaide was a big adjustment and Adelaide is a lot quieter than what I was used to, coming from Melbourne, but I think I’m just a city girl at heart.’
‘I know it’s the right choice for me and I am so lucky to have such an amazing partner that supports me, and wherever Ivan is when I get back is where I will be too,’ she added of her Dubai move.
Chelsea gushed over Ivan’s support of her big move and said people don’t consider how challenging it is for WAGs to keep moving for their partners’ careers.
Chelsea and Ivan plan to continue their relationship long-distance while he will jet off and travel with her in the off-season.

Earlier this week, Chelsea shared her excitement about her move to Dubai, admitting she had always wanted to work for Emirates and travel the world.
Asked if she was taking anyone with her to Dubai, Chelsea shared: ‘Doing this one solo. Never moved anywhere by myself so will be good to gain some independence.
‘I’ve always wanted to move overseas, so I think it’ll be an exciting new chapter for me.’
She went on: ‘He had to move to Adelaide for his career and tbh it’s been a struggle for me.
‘It [living in Adelaide] is just not for me permanently,’ she added, followed by a black heart emoji.
‘Temporarily it’s fine. But long term in aus I think Melbourne or Gold Coast are for me… maybe even Syd.’

In November, Chelsea admitted she had been told ‘mixed reviews’ about Adelaide as she shared she would be moving there to be with Ivan.
‘Tbh [to be honest] can’t say I ever thought I would ever move to Adelaide,’ she wrote.
‘I’ve never even been to Adelaide before so I actually have no idea what to expect … and I hear so many mixed reviews.
‘It’s not forever, but who knows I could end up loving it. Excited for a new chapter and to meet some new people.’
When the couple met two years ago, she at first ruled out a long-distance relationship, insisting it ‘wasn’t an option’ for them.
