The Good Luck, Babe hitmaker is currently in Australia headlining the touring Laneway Festival with stops in the , , , and .
And the US pop star is reportedly touring with a set-up so elaborate that it has left some seasoned festival insiders doing double takes.
Sources have told Daily Mail that Chappell came to Australia with a formidable entourage of no less than 28 people for the five-date run.
And Chappell's retinue was much more than roadies and security staff.
Insiders claim that her inner circle included close friends, family members, hair and make-up artists, fashion stylists and creative collaborators.

'People were genuinely shocked,' one source claimed.
'You just don't usually see an entourage that size on a festival run. Especially for someone still considered a relatively new global breakout.'
However, while the scale of Chappell's travelling roadshow raised some eyebrows, it also sparked admiration from some festival veterans.
'She runs it like a pop dynasty,' the insider added. 'It's very deliberate and very controlled.'
The extent of the operation became especially clear during her Gold Coast stop, where facilities were dramatically reconfigured to cater exclusively to the star and her team.

At Southport Sharks – the venue for the Gold Coast leg of Laneway – Chappell reportedly shut down an entire gymnasium and yoga studio to be transformed into a private green room for the pop star and her impressive entourage.
And her makeshift digs were fitted out with all the mod cons any self-respecting pop star could wish for.
'These weren't just basic rooms with a couch,' the source said.
