Sport presenter Mel McLaughlin showed off a daring new style on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old journalist set tongues wagging as she flashed some skin during Seven News Sydney’s 4pm bulletin.
Presenting her sports update from the studio, Mel wore a chic black double-breasted jacket that appeared to feature a ‘designer tear’ on the left shoulder, revealing her bare skin.
The glamorous reporter appeared to feel perfectly at home with the quirky outfit, which is a distinct change of pace from the understated suits she regularly wears.
Mel has become a fan favourite since she moved to Seven from Channel 10 in 2016.
McLaughlin has previously worked for Fox Sports where she was a presenter before heading to Ten in 2013.

In 2016 she made headlines when sports journalist and cricketer Chris Gayle divided public opinion when he made ‘sexist’ remarks to Mel on live television during an interview.
The reporter was covering the Big Bash League from the sidelines when Gayle told her she had beautiful eyes.
When she turned away and appeared uncomfortable with the comment, he said: ‘Don’t blush, baby’.
Gayle’s comments were labelled ‘inappropriate’ and ‘sexist’.
He was fined $10,000 and apologised.
Mel said she wanted to put the whole saga behind her.
‘You don’t expect to get that sort of answer and it’s a little bit disappointing,’ she told Ten News in January.
‘I don’t really want to be the subject of such conversations, I just just going about my business and doing my job, but it’s definitely a good thing people are talking.

‘We want equality… I’ve always felt, in my career, nothing but respect.’
Soon after starting her gig at Seven Mel was interviewed about her high-profile role and expressed her hopes more women will follow her into sports presenting.
She told News in 2017: ‘Obviously it’s great, the more [women] the better. [But] a bunch of men only in suits talking about sport is completely out of touch with reality and life and society.
‘Anyone that thinks otherwise I just think is wrong. I’m bored of the hype, of this being an issue. I don’t see myself, and I never have, as anything other than a sports fan… just like the men.’
