journalist Jodi Lee has taken to social media to announce she is leaving the network.
In a lengthy post that included a reel of highlights of her ten years at Seven, the senior reporter said she was making her exit 'voluntarily'.
Lee, who was also a regular on Sunrise, did not divulge where she is headed next, but instead teased a major career change.
'Fifteen years after landing my first TV job, I've signed off from Seven News,' she
She then added: 'Not because I don't love it but because of something I've learned by interviewing this country's most courageous and successful people.
'Each of them reiterated the same thing: that nothing good happens inside your comfort zone. So I'm voluntarily leaving mine and the job and people who've come to feel like family.'

Establishing a reputation for versatility, Lee work for Seven included stories on Melbourne's New Year's Fireworks, the State of Origin, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Included in her highlight reel were images of the reporter covering bushfires and floods.
Elsewhere in her post, she said: 'It's been the privilege of a lifetime to have held this microphone, lived out my childhood dream, covered the stories that count and to have met so many incredible people along the way.
'No idea how this will pan out, but that's sort of the point. Change is hard but so is staying the same.'
Many her friends posted messages of support to her story.

'Doing it on your terms! Love it! Whatever comes next is sure to be amazing. Go get it Jodi,' wrote one her pals.
Another added: 'Whoop!!! So happy for you - and whilst many will miss seeing your gorgeous face and ability to communicate a good story - something tells us there is only good to come from this decision. Congrats and best of luck.'
Seven News journalist added: 'Live cross, Kween. One of the best I've ever seen in action. Can't wait to see what you do next.'
