Catherine Tyldesley flashed her cleavage in a plunging brown swimsuit as she shared a sexy Instagram snap on Tuesday.

The former Coronation Street star, 40, showcased her slender physique as she posed for the racy picture.

Enjoying a morning of peace and tranquility, the mother-of-two sat back and relaxed in a sauna at her gym, David Lloyd, in Woking.

Catherine is mother to daughter Iris, 22 months, and son Alfie, eight, who she shares with her husband Tom Pitfield, 39

Her latest post comes after This Morning viewers were left unimpressed after hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary failed to ask guest Catherine about her recent ‘cake-gate’ scandal.

The former soap actress appeared on the show in October with co-star Shane Ward to plug their Channel 5 series, two months after she faced backlash over her ‘bizarre’ row a baker.

The cake maker hit the headlines after revealing they had refused a PR’s request to supply free cakes for the Catherine’s big birthday bash.

And unhappy viewers blasted This Morning branding it a ‘missed opportunity’ after hosts Alison and Dermot failed to even acknowledge the subject.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: ‘Are they going to ask Catherine about cake-gate?’.

While a second wrote: ‘Please ask Catherine about the cakes she tried to get for free…’.

It was recently reported that Catherine was ‘blindsided’ by online backlash surrounding a fierce row over free cake.

Catherine had hired party planners NVRLND to manage the do, but they caused controversy by asking an independent bakery to make a large birthday cake, a smaller birthday cake for Tyldesley’s husband plus 100 cupcakes for free.

The company told Rebecca Severs of Three Little Birds Bakery that payment for the order would be ‘in the form of promotion’, but she hit back at the PR and declined the offer, saying her staff ‘can’t feed their kids with exposure on Instagram.’

The bash has since been cancelled after a furious backlash against Catherine for the request, the Mirror reports.

A source close to the actress said: ‘Cath was blindsided by Cakegate and found the whole thing very upsetting so she’s decided on a quieter celebration.

‘She doesn’t blame NVRLND, but the whole situation left a sour taste so she felt it best to call it off.’

NVRLND did not tell Ms Severs whose birthday celebration the request was for, simply saying it was a ‘well-known celebrity’.

Ms Severs shared her response to the PR, who asked for the cakes at the height of the cost of living crisis, in which she said: ‘I’m so sorry to hear that your client has fallen on such hard times they can’t afford to pay small businesses their products.

‘Unfortunately as my mortgage provider doesn’t take payment “in the form of promotion on their socials”, and my staff can’t feed their kids with exposure on Instagram, I’ll have to decline your very generous offer.’
