And the two have raised eyebrows even more since the New England Patriots star wide receiver lost the big game as fans have noticed the two have unfollowed one another. 

When approached by an ESPN reporter before kickoff and asked to share an 'inspiring message to Stefon', the Grammy-winning rapper, 33, appeared unimpressed.

Cardi smirked, paused, and offered a curt: 'Good luck,' before walking off without adding anything further.

The brief exchange immediately ignited speculation online.

'Ooooo he in trouble???' one fan wrote on X.

The icy pregame moment came just days after reports suggested Cardi was sparing no expense as she geared up to support Diggs on football's biggest stage

Engagement speculation had also followed Diggs in the lead-up to Super Bowl week

After the game, she was expected to host a private party at a rented venue costing around $30,000, with the alcohol bill alone estimated at nearly $222,000.

'She's covering most of the expenses herself because she wants him to feel supported and celebrated,' the insider added. 'She keeps saying this might never happen again, so why hold back?'

The couple have been linked since early last year and went public with their relationship in May when they were spotted courtside together at a New York Knicks game.

Engagement speculation had also followed Diggs in the lead-up to Super Bowl week.

During Super Bowl LX opening night, the 32-year-old wide receiver was asked whether he'd be buying Cardi an engagement ring if he earned one of his own on Sunday.

After a brief hesitation, Diggs laughed and replied: 'It's on the agenda, maybe. Right? I gotta get mine first, though.'
