Bulldogs Star Rhylee West Gets Engaged!

Western Bulldogs star Rhylee West is engaged. 

The footballer announced the happy news in an Instagram post this week, in which he posed alongside his new fiancée Ruby Canavan.

The 25-year-old beamed beside his bride-to-be who showed off her oval-cut diamond ring. 

A further image showed a close-up of the sizeable sparkler on the brunette's finger.  

Ruby, who works as an account manager in the fashion industry, captioned the post with heart and lock emojis. 

The romantic proposal appeared to take place in picturesque countryside with sweeping views seen in photos of the pair. 

The announcement was inundated with congratulations from the couple's famous friends. 

'Huge,' wrote Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli, while Mia Fevola said she was 'crying' over the good news. 

'Congrats,' said footballer Jason Johannisen, with Bulldogs player Cody Weightman posting, 'Love thissss.'

There was more happy news for the Western Bulldogs in October, when player Rory Lobb married Lexi Mary in an intimate ceremony surrounded by friends and family.

The 32-year-old AFL player tied the knot with his content creator partner at St Peter's Church, in the upmarket suburb of Toorak.

In photos shared to social media, Rory looked dashing in a tailored tuxedo as he exchanged vows with Lexi, who stunned in a breathtaking bridal gown by Melbourne designer Alin Le'Kal.

Lexi shared a gallery of photos that captured the highlights of the special day, in which she and Rory looked radiant as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife and tenderly held onto a bridal bouquet.

'The Lobbs 04/10/2025,' she wrote next to the photos.
