Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis shared a new video giving fans tips for how to ‘show up’ for the caregivers in their lives.
The 46-year-old, who married the 69-year-old actor in 2009, shared the video on Instagram Thursday for National Caregivers Day, which takes place on Friday.
She shared some advice for how to show up for any caregiver and how they can truly help in any given situation, which comes a week after her Valentine’s Day post.
The former model has been taking care of her husband since he retired from acting back in 2022 due to aphasia, and he was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia back in 2023.
She captioned the post, ‘National Caregivers Day. Let’s move away from saying, “Let me know if you need anything,” and instead say, “Here’s how I can help you.” It’s tangible, actionable, and takes the burden off the caregiver to decide.’
‘Be specific—offer real support. Drop off a meal, run an errand, or surprise them with their favorite coffee. Take the guesswork off their plate,’ she added.

‘Caregiving is heavy, but support doesn’t have to be complicated. A small, thoughtful act can make all the difference,’ she concluded in the post, which had nearly 3K likes.
‘I thought I’d get in front of it, because I know so many of you want to know how to best support someone who is a caregiver in your life,’ she began.
‘I was thinking about it, and instead of saying to the caregiver, “If there’s anything I can do, please let me know,” which is so kind and comes from such a loving place, instead , why don’t you think about a couple of things that you can do for them,’ she said.
Emma added that it’s, ‘really hard for the caregiver to come up’ with the ‘parameters’ and ‘boundaries of that ask.
‘They don’t want to feel like they’re being a burden, so you let them know how you can show up for them,’ she added.
Emma went on to give numerous examples like getting ‘groceries for you for the week’ or ‘I can come sit with your person for two hours while you go do whatever you want.’
Other examples she gave were, ‘picking your kids up from school and take them to dinner’ or ‘go get your car washed’ or serviced.
‘Think about how you would want to be able to show up for a caregiver in your life and support them for National Caregiver’s Day or any day in the future,’ she concluded.

Last week, Emma shared a heartwarming Valentine’s Day post with a throwback snap of her and Bruce.
‘You + laughter = my favorite love story ❤️,’ the model and businesswoman, 46, wrote in the caption of an Instagram post made on Friday, February 14.
The heartwarming sentiment for the retired actor, who is currently battling frontotemporal dementia, was shared along with what appeared to be a throwback snap of the couple laughing together.
In the image, Heming Willis can be seen moving in closer to the Moonlighting alum’s shoulder and chest while bursting out in laughter, as he has a big smile on his face.
The devoted wife and mother of two would also take to her Instagram Stories and post an old black-and-white photo of the couple with the simple but adoring caption: ‘Us.’
For this one, she shared a snippet of The Notorious B.I.G’s Sky’s song The Limit (Instrumental) and a picture of Willis giving her a kiss on the cheek while out enjoying themselves at a restaurant.
