The Brownlow Medal 2024 played host to many growing families as three pregnant AFL WAGs showed off their blossoming baby bumps on Monday’s red carpet.
Jules Neale, Lulu Scott-Young and Alexandra Merrett were all the picture of elegance as they proudly stepped out after confirming their respective baby news.
Jules, who is the wife of Brisbane Lions co-captain Lachie Neale, looked radiant in a chic off-the-shoulder black gown which hugged her growing stomach.
She was all smiles as she posed alongside the Fremantle footy star, 31, who notably took home the prestigious Brownlow Medal at last year’s ceremony.
Jules, who is expecting her second child with Lachie, accessorised her elegant ensemble with silver droplet earrings and an understated silver bangle.
Meanwhile, Lachie cut a dapper figure in a black tuxedo as he wrapped his arm around Jules, with the pair looking as loved-up as ever.
The couple – who already share a daughter Piper, three – confirmed they are expecting their second child, a baby boy, back in June.
Since welcoming their first child Piper in September 2021, the childhood sweethearts have openly spoken about their struggles to conceive.

The newly-engaged couple looked overjoyed as they stepped out arm-in-arm on the red carpet, just months after publicly sharing their baby news in June.
For the big night, Lulu looked incredible in a yellow pastel maxi dress with a daring split that gave a glimpse at her growing baby bump.
She placed her hand on her belly as she posed up a storm for the cameras, pulling out all the stops with her glamorous look.
Essendon footy star Kyle, 27, cut a suave figure in a black tuxedo as he proudly stood alongside his pregnant partner.
The couple are set to welcome their first child together in November, while they are also preparing to tie the knot after getting engaged in June.
They confirmed their baby news and engagement in a sweet double announcement shared to Instagram at the time.
