My Reno Rules reached a nail-biting conclusion on Tuesday night.

Teams Nathan and Julia, Emma and Michelle, Mitch and Shaz, and Franky and Isaac were all up for the payday after renovating and landscaping a home each.

In the end, Mitch and Shaz were crowned this year's winners and walked away from the show with a fortune.

'Can you believe you're now millionaires?' Adrian said after announcing that the pair were victorious.

'We followed the advice from all the judges and we just can't thank them enough for everything,' Mitch said, as he fought tears.

The couple's son was shocked by his parents' win, but immensely proud.

'Every single emotion is just going through my body now,' he said.

'I'm just so proud of my parents. They did a really good job and I was cheering them on from the sidelines all the way.'

In second place were Franky and Isaac, who go home with $250,000, also courtesy of Portelli.

In third place were Emma and Michelle, who were awarded $100,000.

'We came on this show not knowing there would be second, third or fourth prizes so we're absolutely stoked,' Emma said.

Portelli called the pair 'the comeback queens' after they had some difficult weeks in the contest.

Fourth place paid $50,000, which went to Nathan and Julia.

Not everyone was happy with the result, however, with some viewers at home complaining that they felt the final vote was unfair

'How rigged the judging is on My Reno Rules is actually ridiculous. Both backyards had identical features,' wrote one person on X
