Bijou Phillips shared insight on how she’s coping following her ex-husband Danny Masterson’s rape conviction and prison sentencing last year.
Speaking to E! News at Sunday’s Janie’s Fund charity event, the 43-year-old actress shared, ‘I’m doing good.’
She added that she and their daughter Fianna, who turns age 10 on February 14, make a ‘great little team.’
This comes after news Masterson has been sent to the same California state prison Charlie Manson stayed in: Corcoran State Prison.
Danny was convicted of raping two women in May 2023, and sentenced in September 2023 to serve 30 years to life in prison.
Following the sentencing, Phillips filed for divorce from the former That 70s Show star, and he agreed to give her full custody of their child.

The public appearance marked Bijou’s first return to the red carpet following her tumultuous year.
She was in great spirits as she attended Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler’s annual event, held at the Hollywood Palladium.
It came days after a Daily Mail exclusive report revealed that she was ‘triggered’ by her ex-husband’s move to a maximum security prison.
For the star-studded occasion, she wore a plunging black dress with a sheer, softly pleated skirt.
The look was topped with a black leather motorcycle jacket and her curly dirty-blonde was worn loose.
The mother-of-one completed the ensemble with a bold red lip stain.
Phillips tied the knot with Masterson in 2011, and filed for divorce in September 2023 as he began his sentence at North Kern State Prison.
He was recently moved to the Corcoran State Prison in Central California, which is said to have taken ‘an emotional toll’ on Bijou.

‘The move that Danny has made to his new prison was very triggering for Bijou and stirred up past emotions that she is still trying to deal with,’ an insider said.
‘She has been able to go out and also vacation which has been a stress relief to get back to a somewhat normal life, but it still hurts her inside that her life is forever changed.’
The source continued: ‘It is going to get better but also it will take forever to heal from it all.’
‘She has had a very stressful life dealing with this and what her father has been accused of. It has been an emotional toll that has taken her to places of extreme stress and heartache. That is going to continue for a long time,’ the person said.
In September 2009, Bijou’s sister Mackenzie alleged that she and their father John Phillips had an incestuous sexual relationship for 10 years from the time she was 19.
Bijou defended their dad, who died in March 2001, and said in an interview at the time: ‘I’m 29 now. I’ve talked to everyone who was around during that time, I’ve asked the hard questions. I do not believe my sister. Our father [was] many things. This is not one of them.’
