The US singer, 44, was previously said to be eyeing up the luxury Cotswolds to build a new home with her rapper husband Jay Z, 56, and their daughter Blue Ivy, 14, and their eight-year-old twins.
However, it's now been reported the Irreplaceable hitmaker has called off the plans after discovering the land they had their eyes on is at risk of flooding.
The 58-acre plot, which was worth £7.5million, had planning permission for a seven-bed property to be built.
A source said: 'Beyonce and Jay-Z buying this plot of land was the talk of the Cotswolds.
'So many locals were excited about them moving in.'

They continued to The Sun: 'But the plan appears to have fallen through.
'The plot they were looking at has still not been sold and is now being developed by another couple.
'It's a flood-prone area and that will definitely have put a dampener on proceedings — especially with all the rain we've had over the past month.'
