Bethenny Frankel inadvertently got stoned off a THC-infused beverage she mistook for a non-alcoholic mocktail.
Frankel, 54, was searching for an alternative to alcohol to unwind with when she selected Nowadays, a beverage containing the active ingredient in cannabis, THC.
While the front of the bottle clearly stated the product was ‘THC infused’, Frankel neglected to properly take note of that label before pouring herself a glass four times the serving size.
What resulted was footage of Bethenny getting high, which began with a chill bath time before it she became forgetful.
Bethenny – who was recently in Miami – gave the drink rave reviews, praising the taste before noting she felt ‘glazed.’
The RHONY alum was ultimately alerted to the brand’s psychoactive properties by her TikTok fans.

Bethenny struggled to remember some of her words as she reported her experience with followers.
‘So I didn’t read the bottle and now I’m hearing from you guys that a serving is one and a half ounces and I had eight to 10,’ Bethenny told fans from her bed.
‘So I had like four servings of the….uh… what the hell was I going to say?… What did I say before? Hold on it’s driving me nuts,’ she said before double checking her phrasing. ‘Alcohol-ternatives,’ she said upon return.
‘Yes, that’s right. I had four servings on the first try. Yeah. You’re welcome. This could be fun.’
Bethenny also shared video of her lip syncing to Melissa McCarthy from Bridesmaids. ‘I took nine. I took nine. I did slightly overcommit,’ the audio said.
Despite her ‘user error’, Bethenny was happy to share with fans that she had a pleasant experience with the drink.
‘Okay so here’s what went down,’ she began in a recap the following day. ‘So, I had this, and I was intrigued, and I wanted to try it and I thought it was a ready to drink cocktail. This was something someone said to me but I do know how to read.
‘So I just opened it, because it actually looks like a bottle of liquor, which is what it is, which is what I originally thought it was, that’s what I said, I said, “Is it mimicking the liquor?” but someone who works with me said, “Well no it’s flavored so it’s like a cocktail or something like that.” Whatever.’
‘This is a brand new bottle that I opened and this is how much I drank of it,’ she said, showing about a quarter of the bottle empty.

‘Just so you know you’re supposed to drink that much so I drank that much. That’s not the same. So I was home, it was delicious, and shortly thereafter I took a bath and I was in the bath saying, “I’m really relaxed. Like really relaxed. Like meditative, don’t want to get out of the bath, not rushing, not neurotic relaxed.
‘The good news was that’s a lot and I wasn’t freaking, wasn’t obsessing, I was just chillin. Hard. But you know you could go off the deep end and I was like “this is very good.” So it was very manageable… I then went into bed and I don’t remember everything but I remember reading that.. I mean I do, just like chill, reading you guys saying “you should do a live.” And I did a live.
‘And we talked a little about it and then I got off because I didn’t think I was that entertaining or interesting, or maybe I was, I don’t remember. And then I slept. I usually wake up at like 6:30 and I slept until eight and change. And I feel decent.

‘I have to say, so that’s a good sign, because people are scared of this stuff, and there’s nothing to be afraid of, there’s no monsters here. This would be the night that there’d be monsters because it was a user error and there were no monsters.’
Though still feeling ‘groggy’, she was doing ‘good.’
‘A little groggy. A little groggy for sure. But good,’ she said.
Bethenny’s videos had fans in stitches, with one writing in her update video: ‘I feel like you are fighting for your life a little here,’ drawing a laughing-crying emoji response from Bethenny.
‘I think the effects are still in the room with us,’ another wrote with laughing-crying emojis. ‘I’m dying.’
