His grizzled beard was neatly trimmed and his hair was cut short.

Affleck recently opened up about raising kids as a public figure.

'You put something on your children when you have a public life and that's complicated,' he told E! News in January.

'We really want to give them room to figure out what they want to do,' he said about not pressuring their children into any particular career.

He continued: 'I wouldn't push them into that. They're brilliant and lovely and wonderful and we love them and we're proud of them. And hope that they don't waste their life acting.'

Samuel and Fin are full-time students, while Violet – who is studying at Yale University – has found a passion in activism.
