The former footballer, 50, may well be looking to buy his wife Victoria, 51, a pricey handbag - after making a $4.8 million profit on the sale of the property recently

He bought the condo back in 2020 for $19.8 million (£17.15 million) through his London-based company, Beckham Brand Limited.

And according to The New York Post, he has now sold it for a whopping $24.6 million, earning him a tidy $4.8 million profit on his investment.

The sale came after Brooklyn, who is based in the US, severed all ties with his family in his scathing six-page statement last month, where he said he has no wishes to reconcile with his parents and called them 'controlling and manipulative'.

He also made claims about Victoria's behaviour at his wedding to wife Nicola Peltz - which singer Marc Anthony finally broke his silence on on Tuesday after performing at the nuptials.

The sprawling property is all the way up on the 59th floor of One Thousand Museum, which at 62 storeys and a height of 215m is one of the tallest buildings in the city.

The residence boasted five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, ceiling-to-floor windows and spacious balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, as well as Miami's first private helipad.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives for David for comment.

The eye-catching luxury condo was designed by late star architect Zaha Hadid, who died in Miami in 2016 aged 65, when the tower was built up to about the eighth floor.

On Tuesday Marc Anthony finally broke his silence on Brooklyn's recent bombshell statement about his family, insisting the way the feud has played out 'is hardly the truth'

The lavish pad was used as a base for the Beckham family, after David launched his Inter Miami football team in 2018, with all four of his and Victoria's children frequently staying there.

But even though he has reportedly now sold the penthouse, the couple still own a $72.25 million (£60 million) mansion in Miami Beach.

Built in 2018, the vast property which overlooks Biscayne Bay, comes with a range of stunning features, including a huge number of bedrooms, four half-bathrooms and a chef's kitchen.

The mansion also allowed the family to be close to eldest son Brooklyn, after he relocated to the US with his wife Nicola Peltz - whose family owns a sprawling oceanfront estate in Palm Beach.

The aspiring chef, 26, tied the knot with the heiress at the $85.6million, 44,000-square-foot home, which boasts 27 bedrooms, an enormous outdoor pool, tennis courts and a guest house, sitting on a whopping 13-acres of land.

However, relations between the couple and the Beckhams have since soured, and last month Brooklyn released a scathing six-page statement publicly disowning his parents and accusing them of trying to break up his relationship with Nicola, 31,

The pair have now embarked on a luxurious life in Los Angeles, reportedly getting a $1million a month allowance from her billionaire father Nelson, 83.

David's snap with Michael comes amid the drama. And on Tuesday Marc Anthony finally broke his silence on 's bombshell statement, insisting the way the family feud has played out 'is hardly the truth'.

The Latin singer, 57, spoke out three weeks after Brooklyn, 26, posted the scathing six-page Instagram statement.

At the centre of Brooklyn's statement was the allegation that his mum Victoria had ' when Marc, who was performing during the reception, 'called me to the stage'.

He went on to claim that his mum 'danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life'.

On Monday, Marc, who has been friends with David and Victoria for years, spoke out on the drama, describing the ongoing feud as 'extremely unfortunate' but adding that the way it has played out 'is hardly the truth'.

'I have nothing to say about what's happening with the family. They're a wonderful, wonderful family. I've known them since before the kids were born. I'm godfather to Cruz,' the singer explained, referring to , 20.

Marc spoke out after Brooklyn's fiery Instagram statement in which he severed ties with his parents (the trio are seen in 2019)

He continued: 'Brooklyn is upset about a lot of things, sometimes the smallest of things can become the biggest of things, because it highlights it.

'I'm not speaking bad about either party in it, I'm just putting the narrative straight about the dance.'

From Eva Longoria and Elton John to members of the royal family, the Beckhams have a star-studded circle - and Marc is right in the mix.

He's been a longtime friend of the family, with David and Victoria reportedly bonding over their love of his music.

The trio often show up for each other at events - like when David surprised Marc during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2023.

David is also godfather to Marc's son, Marquitos.
