Bachelor star Bella Varelis shares her ‘day on a plate’ as she reveals how she maintains her toned physique

Bella Varelis has revealed a sneak peek at what she eats in a day to maintain her fit figure.

The Bachelor star, 30, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday with a picture showcasing her ‘day on a plate’. 

The Australian model told fans she tries to keep her meals ‘balanced’, but will often eat out for dinner and snack on fruit.

In the image she shared, Bella plated up four meals she incorporates into her day-to-day diet.

One plate contained four figs cut in half, while another featured grilled fish with sliced cucumber.

Bella appeared to be fond of cucumber, as she included the vegetable in another meal alongside quinoa and yoghurt.

Her final meal of the day was a plate of lamb-chops with some fresh green salad.   

‘Some of my go-to meals, but life is all about balance,’ Bella captioned the post.

‘I thoroughly enjoy going out for dinners as well and I snack on a lot of fruit and always have a sweet treat after dinner.’ 

Bella also told her followers she combines her nutritious diet with strength training, reformer Pilates, occasional yoga and weekly saunas to maintain her frame. 

The 7Bravo host has undergone a makeover since her days as a runner-up on The Bachelor in 2020.

The former reality TV star underwent a nose job and eyelid lift surgery in one eye in 2022.  

At the time, the star admitted she had been ‘lying’ to her fans for ten days and using old photos on social media to conceal her surgery. 

‘Don’t be mad at me, but I’ve been lying to you for the last ten days. Everything you saw on my social media was fake,’ she said in a video posted to YouTube.

In the clip, she had a bandaged nose, bruised eye and surgery scars in the process of healing. 

Bella told her fans she used Doctor Scott Turner in Sydney’s Bondi and spent a total $12,873 on a mini nose job and eyelid lift to one eye. 

The brunette said she did a lot of research on her surgeon and didn’t go to the ‘more popular’ option as the person she chose just ‘clicked’ with her.  

‘I didn’t actually get a full nose job. I only got a mini nose job. I got a tip-plasty, that was only a tip reconstruction,’ she explained. 

‘I didn’t break my nose, which is what happens when you get a full rhinoplasty. You can do a little shave, which I did as well, but I did not break my nose.’ 

She added:  ‘I also did my eye. I had one eye where my eyelid was sitting a little bit lower than the other, and he was like, ‘Oh my god I can fix that for you.”

Posing to the side to compare her new look to her former nose, Bella said the end result would include more of a ‘little scoop’. 

She added that ‘once that goes up, that is what it should look like’.

Since then, Bella’s new nose has settled in and her refined features have led to new opportunities.  

She first debuted her bandaged nose in an Instagram post and said: ‘My little nose got a bit of a freshen up.

‘I’ve been unsure about whether or not I wanted to speak about this publicly as it was quite a personal thing for me.

‘But I love being open with you all about my life so here I am, being completely transparent about the surgery because I believe you deserve that. 

‘Just a reminder: everyone is beautiful in their own unique way and each person’s happiness comes in different forms. 

‘For me, this was something that I always wanted to change since I was 15.

‘I still loved the way I looked before, and my self love wasn’t dependent on this change, but I just preferred the change it would make on my face. 

‘It’s a sensitive topic and everyone will have their own opinions, but I will not be giving any energy to negativity or rudeness, so don’t even bother trying.’

Bella has also previously admitted to getting fillers under her eyes and in her bottom lip.
