An amazing Beverly Hills mansion owned by Australian businessman James Packer has been pulled from the market.

The 56-year-old billionaire originally listed the sprawling 12-bedroom luxury home last year for an eye watering $132million ($US85million).

Packer first purchased the massive Los Angeles estate in 2018 for AUD $93million.

The high profile mogul removed multiple sale listings for the palatial spread late last month, reported The Daily Telegraph on Thursday.

Located in one of LA’s most sought after neighbourhoods, the lavish home has been languishing on the market since last September.

Occupying a mind-boggling 2972 square metres, Packer’s grand mansion was originally built in the 1930s in the opulent style favoured by the stars of Hollywood’s Golden Era.

The all white exterior features enormous ornate windows, a dazzling entrance and ‘Roman’ columns.

Highlights include a massive home cinema, which also includes an entertainment space.

There’s also a gym, wine cellar, a ‘cigar room, and ‘game room’ with a wet bar and pool table.

The mansion also boasts an astonishing 18 bathrooms as well as a pool, spa and a pool house.

According to Mansion Global, actor Danny de Vito and his wife Rhea Pearlman lived in the home for 20-years before selling up in 2015.

Packer later splashed out on ‘upgrades’ to the property including remodelling the extensive grounds and gardens.

The estate includes multiple buildings, one of which is a three-storey accessory property, as well a maids’ quarters and guesthouse.

It is just one of the homes in Packer’s portfolio which includes a $72million apartment in the Crown Resort tower in Sydney’s Barangaroo.

Packer is believed to be selling the property to be closer to his children, Indigo, 14, Jackson, 13, and Emmanuelle, 10, who he shares with ex-wife Erica Packer.

The twice-married father-of-three said in June 2023 he was ready to start the ‘third act’ of his life, including a planned return to his home city of Sydney.

Meanwhile, Packer has other properties in Argentina, Mexico, and Aspen.

He also makes use of a yacht which he uses to cruise the luxury destinations of the Mediterranean.
