The Elvis actor, 33, looked every bit a movie star in a long sleeved white t-shirt and black jeans. Butler carried a black jacket on the chilly night in Southern California.
The Dune Part 2 star was accompanied by a friend for dinner.
The sighting comes after Austin split with Kaia Gerber late last year after three years of dating.
It also comes after he and Zoe Kravitz sparked brief dating rumors.
Zoe is fresh off the end of her engagement to Channing Tatum and stars in Caught Stealing with Butler.

The two reportedly got cozy during filming and, according to a source, ‘have been spending time together over the past few weeks’ and ‘get on very well.’
‘Their chemistry is as good off-screen as it is on it. Austin and Zoë have been keeping it under the radar and aren’t putting a label on anything yet,’ an insider claimed to the US Sun earlier this month.
They added: ‘They are both very respectful of their ex-partners and are just seeing how things go.’
Kravitz, 36, and Butler play lovers in their forthcoming film, which they began filming back in September 2024.
The rumored new couple previously shared a steamy kiss on set in New York City in October 2024, one month before wrapping their project.
Butler and Gerber ended their relationship at the end of 2024.
Similarly, Kravitz and Tatum called it quits in broke up in October 2024 after three years together.

Meanwhile, Butler’s ex-girlfriend has been romantically linked to Lewis Pullman.
In February, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that the model, 23, has purposely chose to keep her blossoming romance under the radar.
‘Kaia and Lewis have actually been together for a while now,’ the insider revealed. ‘They started dating in early December [2024]. They kept it under wraps until the news of her and Austin’s split came out.’
In the wake of their split, the Palm Royale actress, who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, moved on from her heartbreak with Pullman, 32.
‘In early December, Kaia and Lewis started seriously hanging out and were seen all around L.A., but mostly on the east side,’ the source added.
Despite keeping things under wraps for months, the couple managed to go unnoticed in plain sight as ‘Kaia would make sure to be in a hat’ or find other clever ways to disguise herself as they went on dates to ‘their favorite restaurants, bars and clubs.’
On these outings, the insider claimed the lovebirds did not refrain from ‘holding hands and showing PDA.’
‘They were just frequenting crowds that didn’t really know them,’ the source told the outlet.

Gerber and Pullman, who both grew up in Los Angeles, have also reportedly ‘known each other for a while now.’
Like the Vogue cover girl, Pullman has a famous dad.
He is the son of actor Bill Pullman, best known for portraying Sandra Bullock’s love interest in the 1995 romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping, and dancer Tamara Hurwitz.
‘They run in the same circle and have similar friend groups, and that’s how they were introduced,’ the source stated. ‘Kaia likes that this relationship feels low-pressure and that Lewis is a very low-key guy.’
Prior to her relationships with Lewis and Butler, Gerber dated Euphoria heartthrob Jacob Elordi for a year and had a three-month fling with Pete Davidson.
