Anne Hathaway looked nearly unrecognizable in the first trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller Eileen that was released Tuesday.
In the clip, the 40-year-old performer dons a retro blonde wig as she portrays a prison psychologist who draws a young secretary into an unsteady relationship.
Hathaway — who recently reunited with her The Devil Wears Prada costar Meryl Streep — stars alongside Thomasin McKenzie, Shea Whigham, Marin Ireland and Owen Teague in the highly-anticipated film.
The trailer begins with Eileen, played by actress McKenzie, patting down her prison’s staff members and gazing at an attractive prisoner.
The character then tells her father that she had experienced ‘one of those days you never forget’ before she first sees Rebecca, played by Hathaway.
