Hathaway has never said anything to suggest she has gone under the knife, though in 2008 she stated she felt pressure to be 'cookie-cutter beautiful' when she was younger and had even considered a nose job.

Two years later the actress insisted she would never get Botox because she liked her face to 'reflect a personality' and wanted to .

She has continuously declined to speak about any procedures she has or has not had done, previously insisting to Vogue France that asking about surgery is 'an extremely intimate question'.

But Hathaway added that she has no judgement towards those that do opt for cosmetic surgery, stating: 'Whatever means they find to not live crushed by shame or a lack of self-confidence... I say bravo.'

Asked about her youthful looks again during a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the Princess Diaries star insisted she did not 'discuss medical information'.

She did credit her radiant complexion to her decision to stop drinking alcohol and using products from Shiseido, for which she is a brand ambassador.

But the Hollywood icon confessed to the publication that despite her enviable looks and figure, she still has days of struggling with her body.

'Some days you look in the mirror and you're just like, "Not bad,"' she said. 'And some days you look in the mirror and you're like, "What?" And I was having a "What?" day.'

'And you know how you have your aspirational swimsuit that you keep around, just in case you have a good day? And then you have your swimsuit that's got you no matter what? I accidentally packed the aspirational swimsuit.

'Which I then had to wear on a "What?" day. So, I'm ready to have this great day with my family. And I am going to be in front of strangers, and people have phones. And all of the things.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites Hathaway, Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci as they dive back into the cutthroat world of high fashion - but this time with a modern twist.

Early plotlines suggest Streep's fashion editor Miranda is grappling with the decline of traditional print media while facing off against Blunt's Emily Charlton, now a powerful executive controlling crucial advertising dollars.

The sequel will also introduce a host of new faces, including Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux.

And with the original 2006 film raking in over $300 million worldwide and becoming a bona fide cult classic, fans are buzzing to see the sequel bring back the glamour - and a whole new dose of high-fashion drama.
