Anna McEvoy Responds to Fan Accusing Her of Changing After Greek Wedding

Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy has responded to a fan who has accused her of ‘letting fame get to her head’.

The reality star hit back after a woman took to Facebook to admit she used to be a fan of Anna but believes she has changed since her appearance on the dating show in 2022.

On a thread about Anna on the Tea Time group, she wrote: ‘I use to love Anna but she’s really let the fame get to her head!’

The reality TV star responded to the comment by asking how she had changed.

The woman explained she didn’t like a video Anna recently posted to her social media asking fans to recommend a hair stylist for her wedding after she’d had a trial with another hairdresser.

‘The whole video you put up about finding a hair stylist that can do better than the photo. I felt was shaming the woman that initially did your hair,’ she wrote.

‘I don’t know if it was meant to come across that way but it did. The content vibe has changed a bit over the year. It’s fine it’s not for everyone but I noticed a change.’

Anna then explained why she ‘hasn’t changed at all’ and said she feels ‘grateful’ to be in the position she’s in.

‘It was definitely not supposed to come across like that. I was just desperate to find someone, less than 2 months out from my wedding after searching every avenue,’ she began.

‘Anyway, I’m sorry you feel like I’m changed. I haven’t change at all and am super grateful for the position I’m in xxx.’
