Aussie singer Amy Shark has revealed why her mother-in-law has been suspicious she is having an affair.
Appearing on Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy on Thursday, the 37-year-old was asked whether her husband Shane Billing’s ever gets suspicious when she writes songs about new love.
The singer revealed that Shane does not express any concerns but his mother often feels apprehensive.
‘He’s the best because I think he realises if he started zeroing in on lyrics and timeframes and things, it would change everything’ she joked.
Amy added that his mother often expresses concern and even went on to do an impression of her on air: ‘Amy, that song… there’s no affair or anything happening is there? It’s very steamy that song, very steamy.’

Shark was on the air promoting her new single ‘Beautiful Eyes’ which explores themes of love and empowerment.
It comes after the singer was forced to cancel her North American tour in August after being hospitalised with a mystery illness.
The hitmaker announced the news on Instagram and explained she’s been suffering ‘uncomfortable and painful moments’.

She assured fans she’s ‘all good’ despite the news, and said she was ‘so sad’ to have to cancel her US tour dates.
The singer took a month off to recover from the operation.
Shark is one of Australia’s top artists who has eight ARIA Awards under her belt and a bunch of no.1 hits.
The singer is currently appearing as a judge on Australian Idol alongside Marcia Hines and Kyle Sandilands.
