Often she is seeing in skimpy outfits when on the runway, but for this show she was very much covered up.
The stunning images of Hamlin show her wearing not one of the ‘bourgeois elegant’ dresses in the Sportmax collection, but instead, one of the oversized men’s style suits.
It had broad shoulders and wide leg trousers inspired by the zoot suit. That, along with her hairstyle, placed her runway look squarely in the ‘glam androgyny’ category.

Her black suit was contrasted with a fire-engine red shirt and tie, white pocket square and wide belt.
The entire look was a total contrast to the tiny bikini photos of herself that she’s been posting on Instagram and other social media for the past few years.
The Sportmax runway collection for FW2024 was quite varied.
JT Dapper Fashion Week described it as ‘a continuous game of contrasts between bourgeois elegance, primitive chic and glam androgyny. Sartorial tailoring is defined by bold shoulders and wide-leg trousers, a look inspired by both zoot suits and teddy boys.’
Hamlin grew up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the reality show in which her mother, Lisa Rinna, has been a leading character since 2015. Her stepfather is actor Harry Hamlin.
Beginning as a model in New York’s Fashion Week a year ago, Amelia has now worked some of the biggest fashion shows in Milan and Paris, modeling iconic clothing brands like MaxMara, Sportsmax, Bluemarine, Tod’s, Diesel and Chanel.

In an interview with Vogue France in January 2024, Hamlin said she’d wanted to be a runway model her entire life.
She explained that one of her biggest early inspirations was watching a fashion show with Kate Moss wearing a mini-skirt with no top while eating an ice cream cone, and observing that Moss exuded so much self-confidence even with very little clothing.
Amelia spent years developing her own sense of style and fashion creativity, rummaging through magazine stores, and putting the images that inspired her up on a board.
Hamlin’s vital statistics: she’s 5’9′ ½ tall with brown hair and eyes, bust 32′ ½, waist 24′ ½, hips 35′ and shoe size 9 ½, according to The Fashion Spot.
