‘I was just over the moon to get the news. It’s been a dream of mine. What better place to interview Hollywood stars than the Oscars? For me, this is really a dream come true and a dream scenario, really’ she added.

‘I’m also really excited to do something original and put my own stamp on the Oscars, to create some really amazing moments and deliver some amazing interviews — some groundbreaking pop culture journalism is incoming!

‘I hope so anyway. But I’m trying to not to put too much pressure on myself, but I also just want to do a really, really good job.’

But this is not the first red carpet Amelia has done.

She also hosted the backstage coverage at the BAFTA TV Awards with P&O Cruises in May 2023.

Amelia appeared in high spirits as she brought her unique sense of humour to the carpet and backstage at the 2023 BAFTA Television Awards.

She captured some of the most authentic and emotional moments of the night as she led backstage interviews with the winners – right after receiving their awards.

As the awards started, the YouTuber said she was trying to snoop into the envelopes with the winners’ names – as she joked security kept stopping her.

Later, Amelia was captured interviewing BAFTA TV winners of the night – including Adeel Akhtar, who won the Supporting Actor Award for his performance in Sherwood.

Amelia has also been spotted interviewing celebs such as Andrew Garfield on the Golden Globes red carpet.
