Alec Baldwin’s Surprising Pose with Antonio Banderas

has raised eyebrows after posting a photo with a man he claimed to be actor . 

The 30 Rock star, 68, is currently on a birthday vacation with his family in the Dominican Republic, where he snapped a photo with a local man who he claimed to be Banderas.

Sharing a selfie of the pair on Instagram, Baldwin wrote, 'In the DR, I run into @antoniobanderas.'

Most of Baldwin's followers were confused by the post, with one commenting, 'April Fools? He totally doesn't look like Banderas.'

Baldwin's wife Hilaria then cleared up the confusion with a post of her own, explaining that she and Alec were joking because they thought that the man resembled the Spanish actor.

Fans couldn't help but to weigh in on the humorous situation, with one commenting, 'I just looked and he’s a complete RINGER for Antonio, whoa! If I hadn’t seen this video I would’ve thought it WAS ANTONIO.'

Another wrote, 'I knew it wasn't Antonio, but I still had to zoom in to be sure. Thanks for the laughs.' 

It comes just days after Hilaria while posing in a swimsuit during their vacation.

The 42-year-old flashed a new belly button piercing as she posed with her seven children.

She captioned the photos, 'I love that my family came to meet me after my work trip. Such a special time to be here together.' 

However, the star then revealed that one of the children had suffered an unfortunate accident on the holiday, adding, 'Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we were well taken care of in the hospital.

'So grateful for the kindness and care,' noted the Extra host. 'Other than that, it's been beach, together, practicing walking like. Memories made. I missed them so much it hurt.' 

The Baldwins share Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, six, Eduardo, four, Maria, also four, and Ilaria, two.

The power couple have certainly been busy as the kids were welcomed back to back from 2013 until 2022.

Hilaria has been in the Dominican Republic to film a new Amazon reality show.

The as-yet-unnamed series features a slew of major reality stars living together while on a glamorous beach vacation.

Some of the names joining Hilaria on the show include The Bachelorette's Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran, The Valley's Brittany Cartwright, Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn, and singer Tamar Braxton.

A number of former Real Housewives are also on the cast, including Kenya Moore, Kim Zolciak, and Margaret Josephs.

Hilaria and Alec previously starred on their TLC reality series together, The Baldwins.
