Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown was cremated following his death via suicide nearly two months ago, officials said.

The ashes of the late reality star were taken to the Okanogan County Crematory in Okanogan, Washington on June 24, according to a report from TMZ, which cited his primary cause of death as a gunshot wound to his head.

The Okanogan County coroner's office on June 3 confirmed to The Daily Mail that Brown died by suicide.

'Subsequent immersion in water' and 'under the influence of methamphetamine' were both cited as contributing circumstances to his death.

Brown, 42, had been seen by multiple witnesses in a river in Okanogan County in northern  at his time of passing, with his body pulled from the water by his youngest brother Noah on May 30.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for the Okanogan County Crematory for further comment on the story.

Brown's younger brother Bear had suggested that Brown died by suicide and referred to a wound on his body that looked to be 'self-inflicted' but did not reveal the location.

they saw Brown around 8am Wednesday near Driscoll Island Wildlife Area off Highway 97 in Oroville, Washington, less than a mile from where the witness saw the man in the river.
