She is one of the rare Hollywood stars whose face is untouched by cosmetic surgery and her natural features have become a major talking point in the latest White Lotus.
And Aimee Lou Wood has spoken out for the first time about how she is ‘anti-Botox’ because a face frozen by filler hinders an actor’s ability to do their job.
The Sex Education star, 31, told The Sunday Times’ Culture Magazine: ‘I saw these women yesterday, it was these women who do Botox. We were talking about how it’s obvious I haven’t had it.
‘I’m like very anti-Botox, people can do whatever they want but for myself because you know a lot of my career relies on these facial expressions.
‘So I can’t start freezing my face, it needs to move.’
The Toxic Town actress stars in the latest series of White Lotus as the ditsy but loveable character, Chelsea, and the much-anticipated season finale aired in the UK on Monday morning.

Aimee’s large sticking-out teeth have stolen the show when it comes to the HBO hit.
She has been hailed an ‘inspiration’ for leaving them natural and not bending to the superficial beauty standards of Hollywood.
During an appearance on the Johnathan Ross show, the Stockport-born actress said: ‘I can’t believe the impact my teeth are having. Americans can’t get over them.
‘Even the way White Lotus fans are talking about me and my teeth – that I don’t have veneers or Botox – it feels a bit rebellious.’
But her wide tooth gap has had such an impact, she is getting tired of being asked about it.
Aimee revealed to the Observer back in 2021 how she used to be bullied over her appearance when she was younger, being picked on about her body and teeth.
This led to the star, who attended top acting academy RADA before taking on meaty theatre roles at the National Theatre in London among others, believing she wouldn’t get a TV job because she was ‘too weird-looking’.
A year earlier she was asked by Stylist if her teeth were a ‘barrier’ when it came to her career, with Aimee remarking that this was not the case.

She said: ‘It’s completely in my head. It’s a myth I’ve told myself. I had it in my brain that I’m not conventional-looking enough and that’s a mental barrier I’ve had to overcome.’
Meanwhile, her co-star Walton Goggins, 53, who plays her onscreen boyfriend, Rick, is also changing beauty standards when it comes to men’s hairlines with many viewers finding his receding brow ‘sexy’.
One fan wrote on Reddit: ‘I love Walton so much, his half forehead, half teeth and yet it all works. The man is hot.’
Another added: ‘Walton Goggins somehow balding in the most handsome way possible.’
