But though his other half arrived at the event dressed to the nines in a shimmering black mini dress and heels, Sandler opted for his signature laid-back look.

The Uncut Gems star and his spouse looked like they were attending two completely different functions, with Sandler wearing a bright orange Knicks hoodie and blue joggers, prompting fans to complain that he 'couldn’t be bothered to change out of his sweats.'

He completed the garish ensemble with green sneakers featuring purple shoelaces. 

'So he really couldn't put on a dress shirt and some slacks? Goofy,' one fan wrote, while another slammed the display as 'embarrassing.'

'I feel like it's one thing when he's promoting or doing his own projects but for his wife's work you think he could throw on some khakis and a golf shirt at least lol,' someone else chimed in.
