Adam Peaty Snubs Olympic Nan on 84th Birthday

 is said to have has left beloved grandmother Mavis Williams ‘bewildered and saddened’ amid claims he snubbed her on her 84th birthday on Wednesday, just days after publicly marking Holly Ramsay's brother Oscar turning seven. 

Amid the Olympian's ongoing estrangement from his family, he failed to acknowledge his grandmother - famously dubbed ‘Olympic Nan’ for her unwavering support for him during his victory in the 2016 Rio Games - on her milestone birthday. 

Maternal grandmother Mavis celebrated the occasion quietly at home on Wednesday with her daughter and Adam's mum Caroline by her side. 

A source told the Daily Mail: ’There was no card, present, text from Adam wishing his nan happy birthday - absolutely nothing.

‘He can post a happy birthday to Holly's brother Oscar five days ago but not his own nan. It is shameful really.’

The insider added: ‘How could he ignore his 84-year-old nan who has only ever loved and supported him. She is quite bewildered by it. What has his nan done wrong It is very sad.’

‘He and Holly have totally gaslighted Caroline’s mum, his so called ‘Olympic Nan’. They didn’t even send her a Christmas card or text, and now nothing for her birthday, just silence. 

Mavis went viral for her support of Adam at the 2021 Olympics, which saw him take home two gold medals, with #OlympicNan trending on X.

Her own account's bio boasts 'Proud Nan to a World Champion Breaststroker but has not been active since 2024. 

Despite failing to mark his grandmother's big day, Adam shared a sweet happy birthday tribute to his younger brother-in-law Oscar, who turned seven last week. 

Taking to Instagram to share a cheeky snap of the birthday boy, he penned: 'Happy birthday @oscarjramsay' alongside a series of love hearts.

Holly also marked her younger brother's birthday as she shared a collection of snaps of the pair, ! Growing so fast!'.

Daily Mail have contacted Adam Peaty's representatives for comment. 

Adam, 31, tied the knot with the TV chef's eldest daughter Holly, 26, at Bath Abbey in December  in attendance.

Prior to the documentary's release, Caroline demanded that she be removed from the footage, even though she was seen in a fleeting scene.

Since the documentary was unveiled, Gordon revealed Adam's new moniker for him, saying: 'He calls me dad. He messaged me and said, "Hey dad, what have you got? Hey dad, are you around later?" And it's just like, "Oh my God". Incredible.'

Meanwhile Holly and Adam are reportedly  being morphed into the next power couple by their pals David and '.

They recently starred in a joint date night campaign for perfume brand INFINIMENT COTY PARIS - harking back to the Beckhams' racy joint perfume ventures.

The 'young and marketable' couple are said to have some very high profile couples helping advise them on the best way to build a brand; the Beckhams and Holly's parents, the Ramsays.

'Adam and Holly are quietly shaping up to be the next big luxury power couple,' a source said.  

'As Adam starts to consider a career post-swimming, he's signed with Holly's influencer agency, Hypesight, and the plan is for their careers to be managed with a more coordinated commercial strategy rather than as separate lanes.'

The source added to The Sun: 'And of course they have the benefit of being advised by the OGs… both the Beckhams and the Ramsays.'

In their campaign video, the pair were seen getting dressed to the nines as they prepared to head out on a date night.

The video appeared to take inspiration from Victoria and David's former perfume brand Intimately Beckham - for which they regularly posed for intimate campaigns.
