Actress Priyanka Chopra Takes 2-Year-Old Daughter Malti on Her First Hike in Los Angeles: ‘She Splashed in Puddles Until she was Covered in Mud’

Citadel actress Priyanka Chopra shared rare photos with her daughter on Instagram.

On Wednesday the actress was seen with her two-year old mini-me Malti as they enjoyed a day outdoors.

The mother and daughter pair were seen walking on a popular trail in Topanga State Park, which is adjacent to West Los Angeles. 

‘She touched everything, jumped in puddles till she was muddy [to] her knees,’ the wife of Nick Jonas wrote in her caption. 

‘To witness her in real time experiencing everything for the first time…is just her magic dust that she sprinkles in my life every day,’ Priyanka wrote.

The mother and daughter pair were seen walking on a popular trail in Topanga State Park, which is adjacent to West Los Angeles

In the Instagram photo, Malti is intently holding on to the side of a small bridge over a creek, watching the water run below her – fast and furious following the recent deluge of rain in the Los Angeles area.

She wears an adorable leopard print hoodie, black pants, and tiny black hiking boots – which she definitely needed, judging by the amount of mud on the trail.

In fact, she and mom both showed off their muddy shoes.

But it wasn’t all work – the pair took a break to sit on a park bench and enjoy a juice box . 

Malti’s dad, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, is currently on tour, but  responded to the post with a heart eyes emoji.

Fans were enchanted by the tot’s curiosity about nature, her outfit, and her little girl voice – which they hear for the first time. In one video, Priyanka holds her daughter’s hand on the ride to the park and asks her where they’re going.

‘Hike!’ Malti replies. 

Mom has recently shared some of Malti’s other ‘firsts’ as well. Last weekend, she went down a slide by herself.

‘Malti Marie is such a champ,’ wrote the actress and former Miss World. ‘She surprises me everyday. Fearless and spontaneous. Grateful and curious…she climbed up this slide all by herself and launched herself off on her TUMMY, down the slide landing into the ball pit in a fit of laughter and unbridled joy.’

Malti had spent the first 100 days of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit, but is now doing very well. She is the first, and so far only, child for both Nick Jonas, 31, and  Priyanka Chopra, 41.
