Abbie Chatfield has insisted that her prediction about MAGA’s reaction to the death of Pope Francis has already come true.
Pope Francis died at the age of 88 on Sunday, and in an explosive rant posted to social media soon after, the podcaster and reality star said that Trump supporters would celebrate the religious leader’s death as sign that ‘god is on their side’.
To prove her point, Abbie shared an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday, featuring a social media post made by United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
‘Today there were major shifts in global leaderships,’ the Georgia Republican posted on X.
‘Evil is being defeated by the hand of God’ the far right politician added.
Abbie added her own caption in all caps: “I KNEW IT!!!!!!’

On Monday, the television personality had shared her ‘fears’ over MAGA’s response to Pope Francis’ death.
‘The Pope has died and I am now fearful, not because I really rely on the Pope, although rest in peace, the Pope’ she began.
‘I’m fearful because MAGA are gonna take this as a sign that god is on their side, because the Pope recently called out the Trump administration and refused to meet with JD Vance.’
She continued: ‘He ended up meeting with JD Vance, unfortunately, but he was very public in criticising the Trump administration.
‘So Maga and Qanon are now gonna think that god is on their side. That god has struck down the evil Pope Francis.
‘Like, awful timing, awful timing. They’re actually gonna take this as a sign from god’.
Abbie went on: ‘Oh my god, it’s so scary, the cult is so scary. But mark my words, mark my words. That’s what they’re gonna be saying.’
Pope Francis died on Easter Monday aged 88 after dedicating his ‘entire life’ to serving God and the Church, the Vatican announced today.

The Pontiff spent his final hours with faithful, emerging to bless thousands of people in St. Peter’s Square on Easter Sunday and touring the piazza in the Popemobile to wild cheers and applause after being discharged from hospital only last month.
Francis had briefly met with U.S. Vice President JD Vance for a ‘quick and private’ meeting at the Casa Santa Marta residence in Vatican City earlier on Sunday.
He was hoped to be making a steady recovery from double pneumonia before Cardinal Kevin Ferrell, the Vatican camerlengo, announced that he had died at 7.35am local time (5.35am GMT) today.
‘With immense gratitude for his example as a true disciple of the Lord Jesus, we commend the soul of Pope Francis to the infinite, merciful love of God, One and Tribune,’ he said in a statement.
Francis had only left hospital under ‘protected discharge’ on March 23 after suffering an infection that developed into pneumonia in both lungs earlier this year.
But he resolutely toured through the crowd of 35,000 believers ‘for 50 minutes at 21 degrees’ on Sunday after giving the traditional Urbi et Orbi benediction and wishing Catholics a ‘Happy Easter’ and calling for an end to conflicts around the world.
The Conclave – where cardinals gather in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican to choose a successor – will not happen for at least 15 days.
Francis’s body will lie in state in St Peter’s Basilica during an official mourning period, and then – in contrast to most of his predecessors – he will be buried in the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome’s Esquilino neighbourhood.

Abbie said in an Instagram Stories post, made shortly after the news broke, that MAGA Trump Supporters would ‘love’ the sad news
Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni said the news of Francis’ death ‘deeply saddens us, as we are saying goodbye to a great man and a great shepherd. I had the privilege of enjoying his friendship, his counsel and his teachings, which never failed me, not even in times of trial and suffering.’
The White House published a pithy statement on X, saying: ‘Rest in Peace, Pope Francis.’
The bells at Paris’s Notre-Dame cathedral rang out 88 times on Monday in honour of Pope Francis who died aged 88, an AFP reporter at the scene said.
The ’88 rings for 88 years of life’ were to be followed by a full ringing of the cathedral’s bells before a noon mass in Francis’s honour, followed by another in early evening, according to the Notre-Dame press office.
Pope Francis’s final testament was revealed just hours after his death by a stroke and heart failure at the age of 88.
The pontiff ‘passed away peacefully’ at the Saint Martha residence in the Vatican, according to his doctors.
He reportedly woke up when his alarm went off at 6am, fell ill at 7am and died from a stroke at 7.35am.
The Vatican said Pope Francis died of a cerebral stroke and subsequent heart failure.

‘I’m fearful because MAGA are gonna take this as a sign that god is on their side, because the Pope recently called out the Trump administration and refused to meet with JD Vance’ Abbie said. Vance is pictured with Pope Francis
The stroke led to a coma and irreversible heart failure, a death certificate confirmed.
Dr. Andrea Arcangeli, Director of the Directorate of Health and Hygiene of the Vatican City State, issued the official certification, said that the Pope had a prior history of acute respiratory failure caused by multimicrobial bilateral pneumonia, multiple bronchiectases, high blood pressure, and Type II diabetes.
His death was confirmed through electrocardiographic thanatography.
In his last testament, he asked that the ‘suffering that has marked the final part of my life [leads to] peace in the world and for fraternity among peoples’.
He also asked to be buried in a ‘niche of the side nave between the Cappella Paolina (Chapel of the Salus Populi Romani) and the Cappella Sforza of the aforementioned Papal Basilica.’
‘The tomb must be in the earth; simple, without particular decoration and with the only inscription: Franciscus,’ the testament also read.
