It comes after Abbey’s husband Peter Crouch roused fits of laughter with a naughty slip-up at Cheltenham Festival last week.
The former England striker dragged wife Abbey into the equation as he reminisced about his days at the festival with presenter Oli Bell.
Peter has been a regular attendee at Prestbury Parkever since he was introduced to the sport by old Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
He’s a deft hand at whacking elements of comedy into his punditry and the 44-year-old did not hold back when given the opportunity by ITV.
‘I’ve been on a few horses,’ he started. So far, so safe. Then came the punchline.
‘Abbey likes to ride… horses,’ he added, a quip which left Bell unable to contain his cackling.
Peter dug deeper. ‘I’ve been thrown off a couple of times,’ he said, and by this stage the ex-Liverpool star was almost losing his balance as he keeled over in laughter.
Perhaps remembering that they were not speaking past the watershed, Bell recollected himself and decided to ‘leave it at that,’ though the smirk remained on his face for a few seconds after.

It comes after Abbey dubbed her husband Peter as ‘useless’ as she confirmed her fears over her sex life confessions.
The model, who hosts her Therapy Crouch podcast with her famed footballer husband, explained to the Mirror how they keep their spark alive after 14 years of marriage.
She told the publication that despite spending all their time together, she doesn’t feel like she ‘needs space’ away from him.
But Abbey did explain that when she is feeling unwell, she does need some space because Peter is a ‘c**p nurse’.
She said: ‘I don’t need ‘space’ from Peter – unless I’m ill, like I am at the minute, because he’s a c**p nurse and I want him to go away! He’s useless then.’
During their podcast Abbey is very open and honest about her private life, which also tends to involve some very racy information about their sex life.
And while she and Peter seem unbothered by disclosing their bedroom antics, she did confess that she worries she will say something she doesn’t.
‘But you know what? It’s important for us to be authentic… to be real’, she added.

Abbey and Peter share four children – Sophia Ruby, 13, Liberty Rose,9, and sons Johnny, 6, and Jack, five – and to make sure their family stay connected they have some unique rules in their house.
They implemented an iPad and phone ban at Christmas, insisting it’s led to a more positive attitude in their household.
Speaking on their The Therapy Crouch podcast, Peter explained: ‘We said to them iPads and phones are gone and I feel we’ve stuck to that.
‘We made a conscious effort amongst ourselves to cut them out and they’ve properly cut them out.’
They mentioned other rules they’ve put in place include focusing on homework, spending time as a family before having quality time together once the kids go to bed.
