The latest shock elimination comes after Khanh Ong became the sixth celebrity to leave the camp on Tuesday evening
In his exit interview, Khanh said that he enjoyed flexing his creative muscles in the camp kitchen.
‘Most of the meals were driven by whatever ingredients I got. How I made the most flavour with minimum ingredients or charring things to make more flavour,’ he said.
‘A lot of people helped. Every night I had a sous chef. Everyone was happy for me to do it because it is my happy place.’
‘I loved the experience. My campmates were amazing amazing and they’re going to be friends for life,’ Khanh added.
However, the MasterChef star also had some outside help with the cooking as he has since revealed how he snuck a long list of contraband into the camp.

Known for his culinary skills, Khanh smuggled many snacks into camp for himself and his co-stars to enjoy, rather than just the measly food portions of rice and beans.
‘There were lollies as well, we had nuts, I had so many different types of nuts, throughout the day I’d just drop nuts into people’s hands, when I was cooking, I was like putting spices in things just to make things more tasty.’
Despite his best efforts, he admitted the contraband was ultimately taken away from them in line with the Network Ten show’s strict rules.
He said: ‘When the contraband had to be taken off, I literally just threw everything out, I was just like guys just eat what you can, I just need to put the hair dye back into my hair so that Australia doesn’t know that I don’t naturally have pink hair.’
