Perrie’s new solo music leaves final member Jade Thirwall yet to announce any music.
The blonde beauty recently spoke about her album with Rollacoaster magazine and teased what the songs are about.
She said: ‘I wrote songs about everything. It really is like therapy to pour your heart out about a certain situation in your life—and all of a sudden it becomes a song.’
The singer confirmed the track’s title and unveiled its cover art in a social media post shared with followers on March 12.
Captioning the post, she wrote: ‘Here’s the truth of it…. Wow it’s happening!! My first solo single Forget About Us is coming, available to pre-save now’.
In February, Perrie teased the release of her new music while busying herself in the recording studio.
She captioned the post: ‘Singing my little heart out….music pending….’
Formed on The X Factor in 2010, Little Mix enjoyed enormous success throughout their 11-year recording career before announcing their split in December 2021.
But the bandmates have suffered mixed fortunes since confirming their decision to put the band out to pasture.
Former member Jesy, who left the band in 2020 to prioritise her mental health , originally signed a solo deal with Polydor Records.
The two parted ways with the label in 2022 following a lukewarm response to her debut single, Boyz.

The singer later released second solo single Bad Thing independently, but the track failed to break into the UK top 100 singles chart.
Jesy has since scrapped plans to release third single Cried Out in favour of an ‘up-tempo banger’ that she claims is ‘me in a nutshell’, according to sources .
Speaking to The Mirror, an insider said: ‘Jesy has been listening to her critics. She is desperate to give fans something epic and is doing all she can to find her authentic sound, but the sudden change-up has unsettled her camp.
‘Last year, most of her debut album was believed to be done – even the artwork was in place – but Jesy has since done a huge u-turn and everything is being reworked, even the aesthetic as it doesn’t match her new up-tempo direction.’
In 2022, Leigh-Anne signed her own solo deal with Warner Records, releasing debut single Don’t Say Love in June 2023.
