Ethan Browne, son of Jackson Browne, dies at 52

Ethan Browne, the son of singer Jackson Browne, has died at age 52.

The heartbreaking loss was announced in a statement posted to Jackson’s Facebook account on Wednesday.

The statement said that Ethan was ‘found unresponsive’ at his home on November 25 and ‘passed away.’  

‘It is with deep sorrow that we share that on the morning of November 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, the son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away. 

‘We ask for privacy and respect for the family during this difficult time. No further details are available at this moment.’ 

Ethan was a model and actor whose acting credits include roles in Hackers, Raising Helen and Birds of Prey.
