Sam Saadet has revealed that she carries a West Ham emblem in memory of her late father Julian, who died when she was just eight.
The Apprentice star, 33, candidly admitted that she carries the football club badge as a good luck charm while she is on the BBC series.
Sam owns perinatal fitness app The Mummy Movement, which she hopes to share with Lord Sugar if she wins his £250,000 investment.
The mother-of-two shares two daughters Sienna, four, and Sorella, two, with her Turkish Cypriot husband Omer, 32.
In an exclusive interview with the MailOnline, Sam, who has chosen not to disclose her father’s cause of death, shared the meaning behind her special lucky symbol.

She said: ‘He was 34 and I’ll be turning 34 next year. He was a massive West Ham fan so when I went on the show I had my blue boardroom suit and my mum gave me a West Ham pin to put in it.
‘I had it in my jacket every day just to know Dad was there with me. But during filming the suits all went to the dry cleaners, because we weren’t doing washing in the house and the pin was lost.
‘I was like, “oh my god. I can’t do this anymore!”. The only thing West Ham I had left was a pair of socks.
‘So in the house I cut the little West Ham emblem out of them and asked the show runners for a sewing kit so I could sew it into my suit jacket. That way I still had Dad with me.’
She added: ‘Even though I was so young when he died he was definitely a Del Boy like me, so that entrepreneurial part of me runs in the blood.
‘He would always be finding ways to make money by starting little businesses. Even if it failed he’d try something, make a bit of money and go onto the next thing.
‘I have two younger sisters and I had to grow up really quickly. My mum had to work extra hard. She was a single mum to three kids.
‘Watching her being a real grafter also made me think “well, that’s how you do it.” ‘My mum is always saying, “oh you’re so like your dad”.

‘So I know he’d be looking down from heaven right now and thinking “oh bloody hell. Well done!”.’
By the age of 18, Sam had already started her own sales recruitment business, called Rasberry Recruitment.
Sam said: ‘My mum said, “Right. Think about the big brands. We’ve got Apple. We had Orange. What could we do for recruitment?”
‘I said “raspberry!” It was as simple as that. I had this little office in central London and a few other staff after a while, but I was so b***dy proud of myself.’

Sam said: ‘This is where I get the Del Boy side of me. If I get the idea in my head I just go with it.’
In 2019, during her first pregnancy, she started working out to YouTube videos.
She said: ‘I stayed fit during lockdown and when I fell pregnant again I took my qualifications to become a pre and post natal fitness instructor. I wanted to help other mum’s feel good too.’

Earlier this month she told how pals thought she’d vanished to film the ITV series Gladiators because her mum Wendy had been a finalist, way back in 1997 – when in reality she was signed up for The Apprentice.
She said: ‘It was really funny that some people thought that because I’m not that fit! But I think it’s because my mum was a contestant the same age I am now.
‘She did really well and got through to the finals.’
Athletic blonde Wendy Framiglietti was watched by more than 13 million in 1997 during series six, when Ulrika Jonsson and Jeremy Guscott were presenting.
In the semi-finals she struggled to barge her way past Rio, Rebel, Vogue, Falcon and Rocket in a ‘run the gauntlet’ challenge.
But in the final Eliminator round she beat her rival to make it into the final.
