The country music star Hardy has welcomed his first child with his wife Caleigh Ryan, they revealed on Sunday.
The singer — real name Michael Wilson Hardy — shared the happy news with his wife in a joint Instagram post on March 9 announcing that their daughter Rosie Ryan Hardy had been born on March 7.
In one photo the proud dad — who shared his patriotic spirit last year — squeezes his newborn daughter’s cheeks while another image shows mom and daughter — who weighed in at nine pounds and two ounces — touching their noses together.
Hardy and Caleigh announced they were expecting in October via another joint Instagram post.
‘You have been our favorite little secret to keep. Baby Hardy coming February 2025,’ Ryan wrote in her caption.
On her Instagram Stories, Ryan shared more photos, writing that the couple couldn’t wait to become parents.

‘Thank you all so much for all of the sweet words and love you’ve shared with us about our little one!!’ Ryan said.
‘I am so relieved and excited to finally have the news out there!! We are going to be parents! This is so fun!’
Hardy and Caleigh’s romance began in 2018 when he slid into her DMs on Instagram after she popped up on his For You page.
‘We just started talking about San Diego and how she goes to Ole Miss and my family’s Mississippi State thing,” Hardy told People.
‘We kept in contact until I had a show nearby her school and told her I’d love to meet her there.’
When the day of his show arrived, Ryan said she ‘dragged’ her roommates with her to meet Hardy.
‘Once we met each other, there really was no one else,’ Ryan said. ‘We never entertained anyone else. It was just so easy.’
After three years of dating, the singer popped the big question in 2021 at the Lyric Oxford Theater in Mississippi, where they had first met in person.

And in October 2022, the lovebirds said ‘I do’ during a romantic ceremony in Nashville, where the happy couple currently reside.
At the time of the nuptials, Hardy told People, ‘I loved her after the third time that we ever hung out.’
He further gushed, ‘It was the realest thing I had ever experienced. I actually told her I loved her at Stagecoach, out in the crowd.’
Caleigh also had sweet words to say about the performer and expressed, ‘He is very caring and very thoughtful and a very loving person.’
‘A lot of people don’t get to see that. It just makes it feel that much more special to me that I get to share those moments and sides of his personality with him.’
Hardy and Ryan said they both want ‘like four kids’ to fill their new Nashville home, but noted that they first had to go on their honeymoon in Thailand and Vietnam.
‘We’re so excited,’ Ryan said at the time.
Hardy is a singer and songwriter who has written songs for some of the biggest names in country music, including Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen.

He also snatched up the Artist–Songwriter of the Year award at that ceremony.
