Kevin Federline hit a new low after revealing alleged messages his sister-in-law Jamie Lynn Spears sent shedding light on her feud with sister Britney.
According to his upcoming memoir You Thought You Knew, Jamie Lynn corresponded with Kevin’s wife Victoria Prince on several occasions about her nephews Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18 – and the messages laid bare the frustrations she harbored with her famous sister.
In excerpts obtained by Us Weekly, Jamie Lynn allegedly said she was beginning to ‘resent’ her sister ‘for how she treated [her sons] because it was clearly affecting them’ – and also praised Kevin and Victoria for allowing Britney to remain in her sons lives ‘even when y’all had more than enough reasons to validate cutting that off.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Britney, 43, and Jamie Lynn, 34, for comment about the messages but have not yet heard back. Victoria has also been contacted by The Daily Mail via Instagram.
A representative for Britney previously said about claims made in the book: ‘With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin.
‘All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir.’

Jamie Lynn allegedly initiated contact with Victoria due to Britney ‘lashing out’ at the two children she shares with Kevin on social media.
‘Honestly, this makes me want to cry because I feel for those boys so much,’ Jamie Lynn wrote to Victoria, according to Kevin. ‘I’m her little sister by 10 years, and I can’t imagine what her actual children must feel like at times, but I am familiar with the feeling of being a dingy trying to survive in a wave caused by another’s ship, feeling like you have to rescue yourself. I always wanted her to get better, especially for the boys.’
She described beginning to ‘resent’ her sister over ‘how she treated’ her sons, the book claimed, and alleged her sibling was ‘incapable’ of being accountable.
‘I’m still trying to come to terms with how she could be so unaware of anything outside of herself,’ Jamie Lynn allegedly wrote. ‘I spent my whole life based around what was best for Britney, and I never wanted to step on any toes as the little sister, so I quietly built my own life and career. I tried to be supportive, but in a way that was healthy for my own well-being.’
Jamie Lynn was also compelled to reach out to Victoria after one particular Christmas.
Britney’s son Jayden was given a piano by Jamie Lynn for the holiday season, and the boy sent his aunt a nice message about the gift.
‘Jayden sent me the sweetest message about getting his piano, and it made my heart so happy to hear him so happy,’ she reportedly wrote to Victoria. ‘I know I’ve said it so many times, but it’s worth repeating — I’m so thankful the boys have had y’all to raise them to be well-mannered, appreciative and kind boys.
‘Any parent who’s actually raised their children knows that raising kids is the toughest job on Earth, and you both are raising those boys and their siblings while also having to constantly protect and shield them from so much chaos that no one would ever understand unless they lived through it.’

In further praise of the Federlines, she also said there was not ‘enough money or material things in the world’ for the boys to repay Kevin and Victoria for looking out for them when their mother ‘couldn’t be bothered.’
She also allegedly said she was certain Britney ‘never thanked’ Kevin and Victoria for their efforts in raising the kids.
‘And I’m sure my sister has never thanked y’all for raising her children and still being beyond gracious to allow her so many chances to take part in their lives, even when y’all had more than enough reasons to validate cutting that off,’ she allegedly wrote. ‘So I wanted y’all to know how much you are appreciated and supported by those of us who love those boys.’
Britney and her sister have had a rocky relationship over the years though Us Weekly recently reported they have made some strides since the release of Jamie Lynn’s memoir, Things I Should Have Said.
‘Britney and Jamie Lynn are doing better, and they’re planning on getting together soon,’ one source said. ‘The girls decided to keep their relationship problems out of the public eye. They FaceTime every few weeks, and Jamie Lynn is planning on visiting Britney next month in L.A.’
Another source told the publication: ‘They really love one another, but they can be hardheaded siblings.’
Britney recently slammed Kevin over his upcoming memoir in a message that also hit out against their two sons.
The Toxic hitmaker said she’s ‘had enough’ in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, writing, ‘The constant gaslighting from ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting.’

Spears also admitted she has felt ‘demoralized’ about the fractured relationship with her boys, writing, ‘I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys.’
The devastated singer added that she’s seen one of her sons for only ’45 minutes in the past 5 years.’
‘Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life.’
‘Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by own [sic] father for me,’ Spears went on.
‘They need to take responsibility for themselves,’ she added.
The Grammy lamented how little she has seen her sons, declaring that she will now be the one to set the rules for their visits.

‘With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride too. From now on I will let them know when I am available.’
Spears continued, adding that she is the one who ‘gets hurt’ from the ‘white lies’ in Federline’s tell-all book.
‘Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.’
The Baby One More Time singer concluded her statement with love for her two boys.
‘I will always love them and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking.’
‘I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.’
The book will be released on October 21 and contains claims from Kevin about Britney including an allegation that the boys would wake up to find their holding a knife.
Britney reportedly has had a strained relationship with her sons these last few years, and Federline alleged their sons no longer wanted to visit their mother at home in their teen years – citing fear as one of their reasons.
‘They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — “Oh, you’re awake?” — with a knife in her hand,’ Federline wrote in the excerpt obtained by The New York Times. ‘Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation.’
Spears famously wed the back-up dancer in 2004 after a whirlwind romance and they welcomed two children together.
But the marriage fell apart just two years later, with Federline filing for divorce in 2006. They both became legally single the following year and Federline gained full custody of their kids after her 5150 hospitalization.
