Helen Flanagan had landed a huge new gig and is heading to panto land this Christmas.
The Coronation Street star, 34, will be spending the festive season at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena – where she will play the evil stepmother in its pantomime.
Her casting was announced on the arena’s Instagram account on Monday, where a picture of the actress was shared.
Helen donned her evil stepmother costume in the snap, wearing a sequin red and black gown featuring black feathered sleeves, and a gold and red diamante tiara.
A source told The Sun: ‘Helen is the excited for panto season and can’t wait to get into character, she’s a brilliant actress and knows how to put on a show.
‘She’ll also be pocketing a pretty penny, celebrities and soap stars make good money doing panto and always look forward to it as some extra income.’

The job comes after Helen revealed she is selling her £1million family home amid claims she is ‘broke’.
Helen split from her footballer ex-fiance Scott Sinclair back in 2022, and they share three children – Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three – together.
Earlier this year, Helen told in court how she was ‘struggling financially’ before being banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding.

‘I’m not in a financial crisis. I’m moving because I really need a fresh start,’ she told OK! Magazine.
‘Scott surprised me with this house and it was always supposed to be our happy family home, and it wasn’t that.
‘I like to be light-hearted and I hate to sound depressing, but there is a sadness in this house.’
The former soap star admitted it had been ‘a turbulent three years’ and that she wanted to start fresh with her children.
Helen hopes to move to London eventually, but for now, they are planning to stay where they are to avoid disrupting her kids’ education.
The soap star admitted that she will struggle to downsize from her lavish eight-bedroom house.

Speaking on The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, she insisted she was ‘down to earth’ but that moving would be hard.
I put loads of my savings into making it look really beautiful. It’s eight bedrooms which is hard to keep on top of – it’s a lot,’ she shared.
‘When we move I will struggle to downsize – I don’t want to not sounds down to earth. Bu it will feel weird. It will be more manageable for me.’
Helen split from Scott after 13 years together and then moved on with construction worker Robbie, 45, but they split in May and she now wants to be single.
