Kate Beckinsale Finally Meets Eamonn Holmes in Person

She previously admitted she was a surprise fan of the presenter thanks to a hilarious New Year’s Eve snap.

And after being ‘social media friends’ for many years, Kate Beckinsale finally got to meet her idol Eamonn Holmes, with the pair posing for a beaming snap together on Monday.

The actress, 51, who has battled a series of health issues in recent months, crossed paths with the GB News star at an event.

In the image, Eamonn, who recently returned from a holiday with his new partner Katie Alexander, posed with arm around Katie, with the Resident Evil star dressed in a fun black and white mini dress.

Posting the snap on his Instagram, Eamonn captioned the post: ‘After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale.’

This is not the first time that Kate had showed her appreciation for Eamonn, with the star also appearing in a fun snap, where she pretended to lick a mask of his face.

Eamonn himself reposted the image on New Year’s Day, with the caption: ‘Looks like the secret is out about @katebeckinsale and me.

‘But I can’t deny it was a great NYE Party!!!! Well at least my 2024 got off to a great start.’

Eamonn arrived back in the UK on Sunday with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, after the couple spent the last week on a luxury romantic break together.

The GB News presenter and the relationship counsellor weren’t shy about showing off their new romance, with the pair spotted engaging in PDA during the trip.

On Friday evening, the broadcaster was even seen cheekily grabbing her bottom as they headed on a night out in Ibiza.

The getaway reportedly left Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing after 14 years of marriage.

The Sun revealed Catherine Costley has been called up by the star who seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn with a financial settlement.

Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a ‘go bag’ fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun. 

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of ‘Steel Magnolia’ Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain’s highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996. 

Baronness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple’s divorce in 2008.
